Three Barberitos Restaurants ‘Chipping in for a Cure’ to Support
The DONNA Foundation During Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Fast-casual burrito restaurants serving pink chips, offering
pink mood cups and donating 10 percent of sales
JACKSONVILLE, Fl. – (Oct. 16, 2020) – Barberitos, a fast-casual Southwestern Grille and Cantina with 50 locations across the Southeast, is “Chipping in for a Cure” by hosting Breast Cancer Awareness Percentage Days and allowing customers to round up their check and/or add $1 all month long. The Fernandina Beach, Jacksonville and Yulee Barberitos locations will be donating 10 percent of sales from their percentage days to the DONNA Foundation.
The Breast Cancer Awareness Percentage Days will take place on:
● Thursday, Oct, 22 – Fernandina Beach, Fla. (1519 Sadler Road)
● Friday, Oct. 23 – Jacksonville, Fla. (4320 Deerwood Lake Parkway)
● Monday, Oct. 26 – Yulee, Fla. (463867 State Road 200)
Pink chips will also be served to all guests, and pink mood cups will be included with the purchase of a regular drink.

The DONNA Foundation was established in 2003 by a three-time breast cancer survivor and award-winning journalist Donna Deegan to meet the critical financial needs of the underserved living with breast cancer. The foundation’s mission is to provide financial assistance and support to individuals living with breast cancer and to fund groundbreaking breast cancer research.
“Breast Cancer Awareness Month will look very different this year, but we are thankful that Barberitos’ efforts will unite us in our national commitment to raising awareness and researching to combat breast cancer,” said Amanda Napolitano, Executive Director of The DONNA Foundation. “This year has brought new fears to the forefront, but it has also created opportunities to support our mission.”
