The University of Florida/IFAS is offering free, unbiased Medicare consultations (telephone or video conferencing) beginning October 1, 2020.
During open enrollment (October 15 thru December 7, 2020) you can change how you will receive your Medicare health and drug coverage for 2021. Whether you will be new to Medicare and need to enroll or are seeking information on changes you can make to your current Medicare Health and Drug Plans for 2021, this is your chance to receive knowledgeable, no-cost, unbiased information about your choices.
Appointments can be scheduled by calling Meg McAlpine with the University of Florida, Nassau County Extension Service (904)570-5713.
I used this service a couple of months ago when I was first starting Medicare, and the consultant was absolutely excellent! She was knowledgeable, friendly, understood my particular situation and offered great ideas to address it, and offered followup, if I needed it.
