A special “thank you” to the Rotary Club of Fernandina Beach for their generous purchase of a FOUR-YEAR college tuition scholarship for a deserving Take Stock in Children student! We are truly grateful, particularly in these difficult financial times, for their annual contributions to our academically promising low-income students and the mentor program that supports them.

Since 2006 the Rotary Club of Fernandina Beach has bolstered the local community with a wide variety of activities and resources that help local area thrive. The Rotary Club meets at noon on Wednesdays at Story & Song Bookstore Bistro and welcomes visitors who are interested in learning more about their community efforts. Take Stock in Children Nassau was established in 1997 as a non-profit organization that provides a unique opportunity for deserving low-income students to overcome the cycle of poverty through education. We offer our students college scholarships, caring volunteer mentors and hope for a better life. Our comprehensive services start in middle school, continue through high school, and include their degree-seeking journey in college.
