Foar From Home is holding a raffle this Friday, August 7th National Purple Heart Day. Hosting is the Green Turtle on S. 3rd Street in Fernandina Beach, FL.
Drawing will be held at 6pm at the Green Turtle, tickets may be purchased from 5 – 6pm. Tickets are $5 or 3 tickets for $10. You do NOT need to be present to win!
Donations are from local restaurants, stores and even Front Porch Beading, another charity group. Prizes range in value from $25-300. The 22 donations are in memory of the 22 Veterans that commit suicide every day.
FOAR FROM HOME is an ocean row team composed of four veterans from Fernandina Beach, Florida (Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines). In December 2021, these guys will row across the Atlantic Ocean from the Canary Islands to Antigua to raise awareness and donations toward PTSD and Veteran Suicide.
All donations received from Foar from Home will be donated to Cross the Line Foundation, a not for profit organization that supports Veterans from all branches of service by raising awareness of Veteran related issues and causes.
