The Bartram Garden Club will meet on Feb. 9, 2023, at the GFWC Woman’s Club of Fernandina Beach, 201 Jean Lafitte Blvd. Meet and Greet starts at 10:00 a.m. with Call to Order at 10:15 a.m.
The program will begin after the business meeting and features guest speaker, Pam Greenwald from Angel Gardens in Alachua, Florida who will present the program, “Growing Roses Organically: Partnering with Mother Nature.” Ms. Greenwald organically grows over 1000 varieties of landscape roses at Angel Gardens. Varieties include both heirloom and modern roses grown on their own roots using no chemical fertilizers or insecticides.
The Bartram Garden Club, Inc. is affiliated with the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. and the National Garden Clubs, Inc. The club meets from September to May on the second Thursday of the month, at the GFWC Woman’s Club of Fernandina Beach. For more information visit bartramgardenclub.org.
