Florida Department of Health Updates New COVID-19 Cases, Announces Ninety-Five Deaths Related to COVID-19
~250,984 positive cases in Florida residents and 3,527 positive cases in non-Florida residents~
Test results for more than 87,000 individuals were reported to DOH as of midnight, on Friday, July 10. Today, as reported at 11 a.m., there are:
- 10,360 new positive COVID-19 cases (10,274 Florida residents and 86 non-Florida residents)
- 95 Florida resident deaths related to COVID-19
On July 10, 12.64 percent of new cases** tested positive.
There are a total of 254,511 Florida cases*** with 4,197 deaths related to COVID-19.
Since July 10, the deaths of ninety-five Florida residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have been reported in Bay, Brevard, Broward, Charlotte, Citrus, Clay, Collier, Dade, Duval, Escambia, Gadsden, Hardee, Hendry, Highlands, Hillsborough, Indian River, Lake, Lee, Levy, Marion, Martin, Okeechobee, Orange, Palm Beach, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Seminole, St. Johns, St. Lucie, Suwannee and Volusia counties.
Nassau County Emergency Management:
More than 1 in 6 of our new Nassau cases yesterday occurred in residents older than 60 years of age. Our “over 60” population is more at risk for complications from CoViD-19. As stated in the Surgeon General’s Public Health Advisory – we encourage vulnerable residents to limit personal interactions outside their homes and take all measures to limit their risk of exposure to people with this novel Coronavirus.
