There is a discrepancy in the number of cases recorded in the chart and breakdown. We will assume that 2 additional cases were reassigned from the FDOH?

More than 1 in 6 of our new Nassau cases yesterday occurred in residents older than 60 years of age. Our “over 60” population is more at risk for complications from CoViD-19. As stated in the Surgeon General’s Public Health Advisory – we encourage vulnerable residents to limit personal interactions outside their homes and take all measures to limit their risk of exposure to people with this novel Coronavirus.

Wearing cloth face masks in public protects others who also have to conduct business in public places.
