Florida Department of Health Updates New COVID-19 Cases, Announces Eighteen Deaths Related to COVID-19
~187,090 positive cases in Florida residents and 2,962 positive cases in non-Florida residents~
Test results for more than 85,086 individuals were reported to DOH as of midnight, on Friday, July 3. Today, as reported at 11 a.m., there are:
- 11,458 new positive COVID-19 cases (11,372 Florida residents and 86 non-Florida residents)
- 18 Florida resident deaths related to COVID-19
On July 3, 14.1 percent of new cases** tested positive.
There are a total of 190,052 Florida cases*** with 3,702 deaths related to COVID-19.
Since July 3, the deaths of eighteen Florida residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have been reported in Brevard, Broward, Dade, Escambia, Hillsborough, Osceola, Palm Beach, Pasco, Pinellas and St. Lucie counties.

There are 129 cases of Cornavirus in Zip-Code 32034, up 14 from yesterday.
When Emergency Management was asked by someone to identify the hotspots, the answer was “. . . Now that we have community spread, there are no “hotspots” that are hotter than others except crowds and indoor public places where any individual might have transferred droplets to surfaces you might touch or might transmit them directly onto you.”

I understand that the population is now reaching a 30% level of those having anti-bodies. Soon, the herd immunity will be in effect, and we should be outta the woods. This is great news.
