Candidate Albert Wagner

Albert Wagner is a public servant who has served communities in public education for over 15 years. During his career, Albert has worked in the capacity of Elementary Principal, Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, and Teacher.

Albert graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor’s
Degree in December 1999 in Elementary Education. In December 2004, Albert attained his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from St. Joseph’s University. Albert has certifications as a K-6 Elementary Teacher, School Principal, Supervisor, and has a Certificate of Eligibility for School Administrator (Superintendent of Schools, NJ).

For the past two years, Albert has worked as a teacher at Yulee Elementary School. During this time, Albert has gained a positive reputation in the community of facilitating hands-on lessons for his students, going above and beyond for his school, and developing professional and respectful relationships with stakeholders.

Albert is currently a candidate for Superintendent of Schools for Nassau County. He is bringing a vision to Nassau School District of collaboration and innovation. Collaboration with local
unions, PTOs, businesses, and community groups; innovation in staff development/teacher retention and in the growth of our students – intellectually, socially, and emotionally.

Albert resides in Yulee Township with his wife of 14 years Kendra. Together they have two beautiful daughters Rylee, age 11, who will be entering YMS next year, and Addisyn, age 9, who will be entering YES next year. Mr. Wagner is proud to be raising his children Nassau County, a conservative county with conservative values.
