Nassau County Commissioner District 3 candidate Jeff Gray was recently endorsed by the Nassau County Professional Firefighters of Local 3101. The men and women of Local 3101 serve the citizens of Nassau County day in and day out as firefighters, emergency medical technicians, and paramedics.
The president of Local 3101, Darron Ayscue said of Jeff Gray, “Jeff is a strong supporter of public safety departments and first responders. His commitment to ensuring the citizens of Nassau County receive the proper level of fire protection and emergency medical services is to be commended.”
Jeff and Diana are both excited and humbled by the endorsement of our local heroes. “I can’t thank the membership of Local 3101 enough for their show of confidence. I’m proud to stand with them! I look forward to working with them to meet the changing needs of our community,” states Jeff.
Jeff & his wife Diana fell in love with Nassau County years ago and decided to move here and raise a family. The main reason for relocating here from South Carolina? “The people!” Jeff enthusiastically recalls, “And the natural beauty found all across this county is unlike anywhere I’ve lived before.”
Jeff’s strong, over three decades-long background in business and community involvement make him uniquely qualified to take a leadership role in helping lead Nassau County into the the 2020s.
“We have seen Jeff in action and are impressed with how well he connects with people, listens to the concerns of others, and works diligently to help bring about positive change. That’s what our county needs in a county commissioner…and that’s why we’re supporting Jeff,” says Darron Ayscue.
