Bradley Bean Enters City Commission Race

 

 

Fernandina Beach, FL, May 6, 2020- ​Today, Bradley Bean filed for Fernandina Beach City Commission- Group One.

“I am ready to run for City Commission because it is time to put Fernandina First​. I am ready to protect our beautiful parks and trees, support our hard working families, and bring fiscal responsibility to our city. As a son of this city, I chose to return home so that I can give back to the town that shaped me.”

Bean currently serves on the city’s Charter Review Committee (CRC) and is membership chair of the Rotary Club of Fernandina Beach. As an industrial engineer for Rayonier Advanced Materials he knows the importance of having good jobs right here on our island. As a homeowner, he wants to work to keep our quality of life and keep it affordable.

Prior to earning his B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from The University of Florida, Bean graduated as valedictorian from Fernandina Beach High School where today he coaches the school’s robotics team.

Editor’s note:  The Group 1 Seat is currently held by John Miller, who cannot seek reelection due to term limits.  Other announced candidates for this seat include Genece Minshew and Marian Phillips.
