The State of Florida Issues COVID-19 Updates (April 28, 2020)

Governor Ron DeSantis is in constant communication with Florida Division of Emergency Management Director Jared Moskowitz and State Surgeon General Dr. Scott Rivkees as the State of Florida continues to monitor and respond to the threat of COVID-19.

Today, President Donald Trump and Governor DeSantis held a joint press conference at the White House to discuss the state’s ongoing response to COVID-19.

Nassau County Emergency Management: As of 11:00 am, April 28, 2020, FDOH Nassau has no new cases for COVID-19 testing in Nassau residents. The total case count to date remains the same at fifty-three (51 residents and 2 non-residents) for Nassau County. As of this date, 31 individuals have been released from isolation.

To view nursing home facilities impacted by the Coronavirus click here. At this time, the Life Care Center of Hillard is the only Nassau County facility impacted.
