The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will alter various medians along the State Road 200 corridor as part of the State Road 200/A1A improvements project. Motorists’ access to the medians will be restricted during construction.
Medians will be completely closed on the following roadways intersecting with State Road 200:
Yanie Road/Alliance Place
Kutana Road
Cessna Road/Shopping Center
On the following roadways, medians will be upgraded to directional, left-turn only medians as shown in the attached example.
Rubin Davis Lane
Harry Green Road/Santa Barbara Street
Courtney Isles Way/License Road
Lofton Square Court
Nassau Place Road/Flora Parke Boulevard
Zion Court (westbound, left-turn only)
The $60 million project consists of reconstruction and widening the roadway, traffic signal upgrades and an enclosed drainage system with curb and gutter. The project is on schedule to be completed in late 2020, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
