Nassau County Supervisor of Elections Vicki Cannon has reported that at the end of the judicial qualifying period at noon on April 24, 2020, four candidates have qualified to seek the position of County Court Judge, Fourth Judicial Circuit, Group 1.  Incumbent Judge Wesley R. Poole is not seeking reelection.

The ballot for the primary election to be held on August 18, 2020 will include the County Judge race, as well as the School Board races.  Both elections are non-partisan, meaning that all registered voters, regardless of affiliation, will be eligible to vote in those races.

If no judicial candidate receives a majority of the votes cast in the primary, the names of the two candidates receiving the highest number of votes for County Court Judge will be placed on the ballot for the November General Election.
