Recognizing one of many acts of kindness during the Coronavirus pandemic

Marian Phillips (L) recognized a need and went to work sewing masks for area hospitals.   The beneficiaries of her efforts were  Baptist Nassau and U of F Health Jacksonville. Baptist Nassau received 30 masks on  her first delivery, followed by 200 being delivered  to U of F.   Once the material is cut, it takes Marian from 8 to 10 minutes to complete. The photo on the right is Nurse Shannon Benton Little of U of F who acknowledged Marian’s gift with a Facebook post.  Thank you Marian. A true act of kindness!

Just ordered 90 sandwiches from Jersey Mikes to give to staff working Fernandina Nursing Center (formerly Quality Health) to support those who are working with vulnerable folks. All of us who can should give something back to all the courageous people taking care of us all.
