Plantation Gallery exhibiting member Deb Kline Ahern will be our featured artist for the October “Corner” show. The display will consist of oils and watercolors focusing on gold and metallic leafing, maritime forests, linoleum cuts directly printed on canvas and local Amelia Island impressions. Please come and view her distinctive style.
On Tuesday October 22, from 2-3 pm at the gallery, Deb will present a demonstration on printing with a brief overview on types of printing. She will discuss woodcuts, etchings (intaglio), types of linoleum cuts, tools and the process used for linoleum printing. Please join her. The demo is open to all art appreciators.
Plantation Artist’s Guild & Gallery, is located at 94 Amelia Village Circle in the Omni Amelia Island Plantation shops. Hours at the Gallery are Monday 11-5, Tuesday 9-1, Wednesday through Saturday 11-5, and Sunday 1-5. Any questions call (904) 432-1750.
