Hurley City of Fernandina Beach April 29, 2019 Officer Brittany Decker and Officer Jeffrey Snow responded to Baptist Nassau after a deer wandered into the fenced retaining pond area through an open gate. The deer suffered minor cuts and scrapes and was exhausted from the experience. The officers calmed the animal and then lifted it to safety and released it back into the wild.
