Special feature for Artrageous Artwalk – April 13

Second Saturday Artrageous Artwalk, April 13, includes a special event. The screening of “Living in our Maritime Forest,” a short documentary, will be shown and is open to the public. The Amelia Tree Conservancy supported film features Dr. Munsell McPhillips with a global and local perspective of the important functions of maritime forests. Chris Hestand produced the film’s stunning videography of our community and barrier island. Location is the Island Art Association Education Building, 18 N. 2nd St.

The Island Art Association Gallery Nouveau art show and sale for April and May is themed “Living in the Maritime Forest.” Come and see the unique multi-media creations by local artists – inspired by nature, and enjoy the film, shown at 6:30 pm. www.islandart.org
