25th Anniversary of Amelia Island DAR Chapter
Regent Lynn McNair Leisy accepted a Proclamation from Fernandina Beach Mayor John Miller recognizing the 25th Anniversary of the Amelia Island Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) for twenty-five years of active service in City of Fernandina Beach and for perpetuating the memory and spirit of the men and women who achieved American Independence.
On accepting the Proclamation, Leisy thanked the Commission and announced that the DAR project for the upcoming year is rebuilding the library at the Peck Center.
