Asa Jernigan is recognized as Nassau County’s Teacher of the Year during Amelia Lodge’s Community Service Recognition.

The Brothers of Amelia Lodge No. 47 recognized Asa Jernigan as the 2018 Nassau County Teacher of the Year at last night’s Community Service Recognition Night! Nassau County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Kathy Burns, and Donna Martin, (Nassau County School Board District 1) joined Worshipful John Drew, our Emcee, on stage for the presentation.

Jenna Edwards (2nd from left) of Fernandina Beach High School and Roseann Walters (Center) of Yulee High School receive scholarships.

The Brothers of Amelia Lodge No. 47 awarded l each $1000 college scholarships on June 26, 2018 at their Annual Community Service Recognition Night! Jenna plans to pursue a Degree in Biology at The University of North Florida. Roseann will also be at Biology student at Florida Atlantic University.
