House Bill 631 and Customary Use of Beaches in Unincorporated Areas of Nassau County, Florida

Based on the passage of HB 631 (Beach Bill), the Board of County Commissioners has formed a Fact Finding Committee consisting of Michael S. Mullin, County Attorney, Shanea Jones, County Manager, and Taco Pope, Director of Planning and Economic Development, to receive testimony and documentary evidence as to the customary and historic use of the dry sand areas of the beach, in the unincorporated areas of Amelia Island.

The public is invited to participate and provide testimony and documentary evidence as to the customary beach use.

The Fact Finding Committee will meet in the Commission Chambers, located at the James S. Page Governmental Complex, 96135 Nassau Place, Yulee, Florida on the following dates and times:

May 15, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.
May 17, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.
May 22, 2018 at 3:00 p.m.
May 24, 2018 at 3:00 p.m.
