Can I ask why did Representative Byrd never have a local town hall meeting on this issue here in Fernandina Beach? Why has there been no attorney opinion requested by Representative Byrd on this legislation? It would seem his vote to adopt the bill has caused taxpayers here locally to expend public resources via the City Attorney to engage in research aimed at protecting the beach and the citizen’s right of access….any thoughts?
