Nassau County mom killed in motorcycle accident

A 29-year old mother of 5 was killed early Sunday morning following a motorcycle crash in Callahan near the intersection of SR200 and Gressman Dairy Road.  Shannon Bollinger and her husband Curtis Bollinger, a veteran Nassau County firefighter,  were thrown from their motorcycle when they drove onto a grassy median.  Shannon Bollinger landed in the road, where she was hit by a car and died at the scene.  Her husband remains in serious condition at UF Health.

This is just awful news for this family. All those children now without a mother. God bless the husband who is in such serious condition in the hospital. God bless those poor children and keep them strong.

God bless this family and I am thankful that the children’s father was spared. So terrible.
