Good news for everyone interested in local government transparency! Effective next month, the City of Fernandina Beach will expand its live streaming to include airing monthly meetings of the following city advisory boards:
- Board of Adjustment (3rdWednesday at 5:00 p.m.)
- Code Enforcement and Appeals Board (1stThursday at 5:30 p.m.)
- Historic District Council (3rdThursday at 5:00 p.m.)
- Planning Advisory Board (2ndWednesday at 5:00 p.m.)
Meetings will be live broadcast on the city’s website and on Comcast Channel 264. Agendas and back up materials will continue to be available in advance of the meeting via the city’s website.
And, of course, the public is always invited to attend these meetings and meetings of all city boards in person at Fernandina Beach City Hall, 2nd & Alachua Streets, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034.
A nice addition for us watchers as it sometimes is several months before minutes of these meetings are published. Thank you CoFB.
