Would you like to practice being in a difficult conversation in a supportive environment? Are there topics you are passionate about but don’t know how to discuss them? Do you look away when someone brings up a “hot button” issue? One difficult conversation or interaction on Facebook does not mean we should give up on this important work that strengthens the fabric of our community. Let’s get comfortable being uncomfortable so that we can all grow together.

Come join the Coalition for the Reduction/Elimination of Ethnic Disparities in Health (CREED) in collaboration with representatives from New Vision United Church of Christ and other community nonprofits and help the conversation begin!

There will be three conversations on Tuesday evenings in January from 6:00p.m.-7:30 p.m. in the Peck Center auditorium, 516 S. 10th St., Fernandina Beach. The sessions will be moderated by Rev. Linda Hart Green, a retired pastor, denominational executive and a partner in Shady Ladies Art Studio.
