Arts and Culture Nassau, the Fernandina Beach/Nassau County Council of the Arts, is hosting a free public Community Forum to help organizations maximize the value of volunteers.

The Forum will be held on Saturday November 14th from 10AM til noon at the Fernandina Beach Branch of the Nassau County Library, 25 North 4th Street.  Organizations working with volunteers will learn recruiting and retaining skills as well as how to enhance volunteer gratification. This workshop will benefit people in supervisory/management positions in organizations with volunteers.

The workshop facilitator will be Vicki Whittemore, Past President of the Junior League of Jacksonville, Volunteer Coordinator for Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival, Church Council Director for Memorial United Methodist Church as well as holder of numerous other volunteer positions.

Especially since it’s FREE!
Does this mean I get out of chores on Saturday?
