Three weeks out from the November 3, 2015 general election to fill city commission seats in Groups 4 and 5, here is financial data filed with the Supervisor of Elections to date:

candidates 3 weeks out

In Group 4, the candidates have loaned their campaigns all or most of the cash. Pat Gass has reported no contributions, appearing to self-finance her entire campaign. Higginbotham has also financed his campaign via loans, other than an in kind contribution of cards. Schriver has loaned herself $170 and reported in kind contributions from herself for business cards and signs and photocopies of her petition cards. Smith has loaned or contributed to his campaign around $1,900; he has reported one $50 contribution and four $100 contributions.

Group 5 shows a different pattern. Kavanaugh has raised the most money of all the candidates. He loaned his campaign $121.74 and accepted an in kind contribution of a professional photograph ($500). He received two contributions of $1,000; one $500; one $250; four $100; one $50; and three $25. Leonard A. Kreger, competing for the same seat, reported a $200 loan to his campaign and three cash contributions: one $250 and two $100.

As of today, the Supervisor of Elections reports that her office has received 261 mail ballots, representing 2.66% of the registered city voters.
