The City of Fernandina Beach has scheduled several meetings for the week of April 5, 2015. The public is invited to attend all meetings. Regular Meeting of the Fernandina Beach City Commission

In addition to regular business, the FBCC will discuss two items: whether the member of a city advisory board must be a United States citizen; and wetlands conservation.

Planning Advisory Board Workshop Session

Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. in City Hall Commission Chambers

This purpose of this PAB workshop, which replaces the regular PAB meeting, is to solicit any remaining public input on PAB Case 2014-21 (hazardous materials definitions, storage, uses) and items contained in the application. Note that this is the final public workshop, and the PAB will only take input, not make a recommendation. The PAB will meet on April 14, 2015 in Special Session to formulate its recommendation to approve, approve with modifications, or reject the application. The FBCC will consider the final disposition of the case in May.

CRA Advisory Board Regular Meeting

Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 3:15 p.m. in City Hall Commission Chambers

Scheduled for discussion are updates on the CRAAB’s 2015 goals: implementing quiet zones; park development; looking at the CRA plan for amendments; addressing parking in the CRA; encouraging development/finding a developer/developing an incentives package to attract developers; reviewing LDC language to determine deterrents, if any, to development; issue specific recommendations to the FBCC and City Manager.

Airport Advisory Commission

The Regular Meeting will be held first, followed by a meeting of the Technical Advisory Committee on the Airport Master Plan Update.
