The Fire Fighters make up part of the meat and potatoes of this City. I can’t remember the last time they felt so strongly about an election to actually endorse one of the candidates. Even Poynters opponent has backed him, impressive to say the least. This election is going to be decided by the turnout. Please make that extra effort to vote and get all your friends to vote. It’s your choice Tim or Charlie, just get out there and vote.

Well done Mr. Smith. The next 12 to 18 months are critical for our Town. We must decide if Fernandina Beach wants to continue to be a Vacation destination for a growing tourist industry or a mill town with a Kinder Morgan toxic fossil fuel Terminal. I don’t know if we have a choice. But we have a better chance with folks like Tim Poynter on our Commission. Please get out and vote.
