Jamie Deonas takes oath of office to serve on Nassau County School Board

DSCN1309 CropDuring the early evening of November 17, 2014, Circuit Court Judge Robert Foster administered the oath of office to Jamie Deonas, Nassau County’s newest school board member.   Deonas was unopposed in his quest to serve on the Nassau County School Board, District 3.  Incumbent Amanda L. Young did not  qualify for a second term. Pictured along side Deonas is his wife Janet.

Proud parents Nick Deonas, former Nassau County Commissioner, and his wife Dale, were among 30 guests who attended the ceremony.

It was a wonderful evening. I met county commissioners who were so nice & alot of people from the county who seemed so friendly & tight knitted, not at all like the city of FB. I was very impressed. Judge Foster is a wonderful man who talked to me about how he became a judge & the changes he has seen. Congrats to Jamie Deonas….
