NCEDB appoints Roger Rassman to its Board of Directors

The Nassau County Economic Development (NCEDB), a non-profit corporation, announced today Roger Rassman, vice president of marketing for Community First Credit Union and a Nassau County resident has been selected to serve on the organization’s board of directors.  Rassman replaces former board member Leah Jennings, who recently joined the NCEDB as director of workforce development.

Roger has been vice president of marketing for Community First Credit Union since 2012. He is responsible for strategic market planning to support the organization’s vision, goals and objectives. He also supervises market research and analysis, modeling, data mining and segmentation strategies, advertising, direct marketing, customer growth, business development, community affairs and public relations.

NCEDB Executive Director Steve Rieck expressed, “Serving on the board of a thriving non-profit requires time, dedication and a commitment to improving our community.  It is exciting to welcome Roger who brings a fresh perspective and notable marketing experience to our organization.  I know Roger’s service will be a tremendous benefit to the board and organization as a whole.”

Community First Credit Union is committed to Nassau County’s growth, business climate and community. The credit union opened its Yulee location in 2008 and its employees are active in the Nassau County, Amelia Island and Fernandina communities. In addition, the credit union has supported numerous community events in the area including funding the Fourth of July fireworks display in downtown Fernandina as well as the annual Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival.
