With support from the Petanque Club and the Amelia Tree Conservancy, the city marked Arbor Day along the Amelia River boardwalk on Sunday, April 27, 2014.  According to Kelly Gibson, Senior City Planner, “Our Arbor Day trees were generously donated by NuVision Landscape Company and include five sabal palms and a live oak. These trees frame the waterfront petanque courts and will one day provide some much needed shade to this sunny location.”
