The Nassau County Economic Development Board (NCEDB) recently announced that Karen Schexnayder has joined the organization as the Director of Communications and Public Relations. In her new role, Ms. Schexnayder will work closely with the Board and its investors to further their mission of promoting economic development in Nassau County through the Nassau Tomorrow strategic plan. Nassau Tomorrow is a 5-year strategy to create new jobs, expand the economic base and keep taxes low in Nassau County.
Karen brings a strong understanding and appreciation of the local community to this position, as well as 15 years experience in communications, marketing and public relations. In addition, Ms. Schexnayder has been actively engaged in community service. As a founding member of WIN-WIN (Women In Nassau helping Women In Need), she provided promotional and marketing materials for various fundraising events for the organization. She also served on the boards of the Camden County Chamber of Commerce and the Camden-Charlton Board of Realtors during her tenure at Osprey Cove and Bent Pine Construction, both located in Camden County, GA.
