Haven Hospice and Oxley-Heard Funeral Home to hold a Love and Remembrance Memorial for the Community

Haven Hospice and Oxley-Heard will be hosting a Love and Remembrance Memorial, open and free to the public, at the Oxley-Heard Funeral Home at 1305 Atlantic Avenue in Fernandina Beach on February 28 at 2 p.m.
“Loving and remembering is a gift we give ourselves as we treasure the memories of those we love,” said Vonceil Levine, MSW, a Haven Hospice bereavement counselor who will be facilitating the memorial.

Haven and Oxley-Heard invites anyone in the community who has lost a loved one to come together, love and remember. While everyone grieves in their own way, the memorial will be an opportunity for community members to remember their loved one with music, a time of reflection and a poem reading.

“Love does not stop when someone we love dies,” said Levine. “We live to love them, to honor them and to cherish them today, tomorrow and always.
