Home Robbery

Two men entered a residence through an unlocked rear door during the early morning hours of February 7th and confronted a woman that had been sleeping inside the house. The victim was tied up while the men methodically went about removing items from the home, before fleeing in a white U-Haul passenger van similar to the one pictured below.

At about 2:00 AM the victim was awakened by loud sounds as the two home invaders burst into her room brandishing a firearm, pointing the gun at her head, and racking the slide for emphasis. One suspect demanded money, drugs and the victim’s firearm, and suggested that the residence was targeted as retaliation. The offenders took clothes, shoes, a flat screen television, PlayStation 4, a cell phone and other items, before leaving the located at 615 South 14th Street.

A third man arrived at the residence in the van, parked in the driveway, and the stolen items were loaded into the van. The three suspects, described as black males in their twenties, fled the area southward on 14th Street and then travelled west on Jasmine Street, according to witness statements.
