The morning weather is perfect, polls are open, and candidates Curtin and Miller are finishing the final hours of campaigning for a seat on the Fernandina Beach City Commission. Shortly after 8 a.m., a seasoned campaign worker at the Atlantic Avenue Recreation Center said the early morning voter turnout was slow. The Nassau County Supervisor of Elections office is expected to provide voter turnout information by mid morning.
The Fernandina Observer will provide voter information throughout the day, and election results shortly after polls close at 7 p.m.
