Santa, a snow globe, bounce house, ice skating, music, entertainment, hot cocoa, arts and crafts and the reality TV show (Wipe-out) game are all part of this holiday celebration at the foot of Centre Street by the Fernandina Harbor Marina this Friday and Saturday, November 29th and 30th from 11a.m. to 9 p.m. Plan for a full day of fun, starting with wearing your pajamas on Centre Street Friday morning. In addition to discount shopping, you will receive discounted tickets to the ice skating rink.

Nassau Alcohol Crime and Drug Abatement Coalition is sponsoring the ice skating rink, open both days from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at a cost of $5 including the skate rental. They are also sponsoring the 15 foot snow globe, where you can have pictures taken Saturday afternoon. The Teens for Change, high school students from Yulee and Fernandina Beach, will be selling hot cocoa both days. For more information you can go to www.nacdac.org.

The city Parks and Recreation Department is working with 14 vendors for food, arts and crafts booths, musical entertainment, a bounce house for kids, and a “Wipe-out” reality TV show game for both days, as well as pictures with Santa on Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m., followed by the Christmas tree lighting at 6:15.
