Submitted by Marla McDanielBarnabas 4

Barnabas Center, a Nassau County nonprofit agency, has again achieved a four-star rating from Charity Navigator, America’s premier charity evaluator.  Four stars is the highest rating possible, with Barnabas Center earning this designation for its sound fiscal and organizational management.

Barnabas has achieved four stars for seven consecutive years; only two percent of rated charities nationwide achieve this status, indicating that Barnabas Center outperforms most other charities in America.  Ken Berger, C.E.O. of Charity Navigator states that “ This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator differentiates Barnabas Center from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.”
