Festive Brunch, Three-Course Feast and Dinner-to-Go at Amelia Island Resort

From a festive Thanksgiving Day brunch to a three-course feast at Verandah or a dinner-to-go from Marché Burette, the Amelia Island resort offers a variety of Thanksgiving meal selections.

Thanksgiving Brunch will be served at Sunrise Café from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for
$49/adult or $19/child.  The full buffet will feature Art of Breakfast selections; a
variety of cheeses, soup and salads; and an assortment of seafood;  as well as
traditional Thanksgiving  dishes such as smoked sugar cured ham, whipped potatoes,
green bean casserole, turkey and dressing, cranberry sauce, Carolina gold rice,
roasted vegetables and a selection of fine desserts with bottomless mimosas and
bloody marys.  This delicious buffet is open to the public and includes the best
ocean view dining in Northeast Florida.

The southern-inspired seafood restaurant, Verandah, will be serving a three-course
Thanksgiving meal from 3 to 9 p.m. for $49/adult or $19/child.  Guests can select
from a variety of choices for each course including an entrée of roasted turkey,
strip loin, ham or seafood selections of grouper or salmon.

For those looking to have Thanksgiving dinner in the comfort of their own home
without the hassle of cooking, Marché Burette is offering a dinner-to-go that will
feed to six to eight people for just $99.  The traditional Thanksgiving meal will
include a fully cooked 12 pound turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean
casserole, rolls, cranberry sauce, a whole pumpkin pie and a bottle of house
Cabernet or Chardonnay.  Pre-orders must be placed by November 22nd and picked up by 2 p.m. on November 28th.

The day after Thanksgiving, resort guests and locals alike can kick-off the holiday
season with the annual Holiday Celebration at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation.
The festive tree lighting will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. in The Shops of Amelia
Island Plantation on Friday, November 29th.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit
the local mentoring and scholarship program, Take Stock in Children.
