Sheriff Bill Leeper is pleased to announce the promotion of Sergeant Ryan Vantassell to Lieutenant after the completion NCSO’s first ever competitive, fair and impartial promotional examination for Lieutenant. Vantassell, ranked first after all the scoring was complete. The exam consisted of real-life scenario-based interviews, as well as an in-basket exercise, which required each candidate to be well versed in NCSO’s policies, procedures and the law.
