In all of recorded history, the number of people who have died from the use of Cannabis is ZERO. Yet thousands upon thousands of people die each year as the result of using prescription medicine and alcohol.

Entrenched special interest groups (e.g. Alcohol Companies, Pharmaceutical Companies, Private Prison Corporations) are spending large sums of money to keep our broken drug laws on the books: – See more at: http://www.republicreport.org/2012/marijuana-lobby-illegal/#sthash.5XDI96ub.dpuf

Hopefully Mr. Ganey will have a jury trial where the jury is fully informed about their legal authority to refuse to enforce corrupt laws. “JURY NULLIFICATION” is a peaceful way to protect human rights. For more information see FIJA.org

Mr. Martin,
You are definitely correct. This article coming from the NCSO and the Press makes it look like a person growing for his own use is a harden criminal. Why don’t they go after the real hardened criminals who is out there using drugs, selling to children, using alcohol driving the streets and driving killing people or molesting children. Really, never even leaving their house and using it for medical purposes is harming people? Do you see $80K in that picture? Way to go Press and NCSO to glorify a backyard operation, and make it look sophisticated, a one man operation? As I Understand this person is a blue collared worker paying your taxes and this is what he gets for his tax dollars? How did he hurt anyone? Mr. Public, do you want your taxes dollars used to go out and watch an individual grow and store, for his own use, this type of low level drug? They probably spent thousands of your money to arrest this person.
Ask Dr. Gupta what it hurts and why its not legal? http://www.cnn.com/2013/08/08/health/gupta-changed-mind-marijuana/index.html Ask all the presidents and politicians what it has hurt for them to use it? They still get in office and it never hurt anyone. I bet NCSO used quite a bit of your tax dollars to bust this small home growing person for his medicinal needs. PLEASE people ask your politicians to put your tax dollars to better use.
There’s not one bit of proof he was out on the streets selling it, did they show you proof?
I don’t think that people are that stupid in Nassau County to believe this doesn’t happen every day in America.
All I’m asking is to use our tax dollars for better use and focus on the major drug players in Nassau County and to use them to keep our kids safe.
Trial you say, that won’t happen because all they want is money. Do you think if you put these people in jail they can afford to pay NCSO because most of them are hard working honest people. Make sure you take them down so they can’t work since their employers now know and they might lose their job and can’t pay you.
Mr. Martin, thanks for bringing this to the attention of whoever reads it. You truly are one of those “that gets it”..
