Circuit court Judge Brian Davis’s nomination to a federal judgeship is moving forward now that Florida Senator Marco Rubio has removed his hold on the  Davis’ nomination. According to an article by Larry Hannan published in yesterday’s  Florida Times Union, “Rubio withdraws hold on Nassau judges nomination to federal judgeship,” Davis might receive a “confirmation vote within the next month.”

The City of Fernandina Beach has two legal cases before Judge Davis.  One is the impact fee lawsuit, and the other is a property dispute between the City and Patricia C. Toundas.
