A short lived house fire on AIA in Yulee was out in five minutes, according to passing motorist Ronnie Stoots.   The Nassau County Fire Department was quick to respond.

The fire began on the front porch.  A previous report from an individual on the scene that the house was unoccupied dwelling is not accurate.  The home is occupied although the occupants were not home at the time of the fire.

The fire occurred  around 1:30 p.m. on June 29.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Editor’s Note:  We thank Ronnie Stoots for alerting the Fernandina Observer to this situation.  Photographer on the scene was Ronnie’s daughter Kayle.
