The City Manager of the City of Fernandina Beach is pleased to announce the appointment of Adrienne Burke as the Director of the Fernandina Beach
Community Development Department effective May 6, 2013.
Ms. Burke began her career with the City in 2008 when she was hired as a City Planner. Her
responsibilities have been primarily focused on historic preservation planning
while also assisting with a variety of community planning activities. In addition
to her professional pursuits, she is active with a number of local civic and
volunteer groups. Ms. Burke received her Juris Doctor and Masters of Science in
Architectural Studies: Historic Preservation, with a minor in Urban and Regional
Planning, from the University of Florida in 2007. She has proven to be a valuable
and reliable resource for the City and is well-suited to succeed in this expanded
role.
