Operation “Step Ladder” gets leg up on local drug dealers

A three month undercover narcotics investigation conducted by the Fernandina Beach Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) was successfully concluded during the past week. The task force focus on “Operation Step Ladder” effectively identified and arrested individuals responsible for the sale and delivery of crack cocaine, powder cocaine, sale of prescription drugs, and the sale of marijuana.

This investigation continued our local priority of targeting groups of drug traffickers specifically known to distribute cocaine inside the city limits of Fernandina Beach. In addition to those pictured below, more local subjects are still being sought and more arrests are pending.
