Editor’s Note: Stephen is a regular island snow bird, hailing from Syracuse, New York. He retired after 35 years as a primary care pediatrician and is currently a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. Skimmers in Flight received first place recognition during a local show held in Syracuse.
