Mayor Arlene Filkoff Invites Citizens to Attend Community Meetings

As some know, I’ve been holding community meetings on the first Thursday evening of every month since I was elected. I believe it is our responsibility to inform the community on what your government is doing. I know that evenings are not convenient for everyone, so I’m trying something new – not changing the first Thursdays – just adding something.

I’d like the opportunity to meet with anyone who would like to know more about the issues facing the City as well as hear about some of the work going on these days.

I’m going to start visiting various places on the following Wednesday’s at 10:30 AM. If these times are convenient, I hope you’ll be able to attend. If there are more convenient times, please let me know.

June 27            Jean Ribault Pocket Park (between Seattle’s Best and Sea Breeze)

July 11             Marina – bench beneath Brett’s

July 18             Gazebo at Main Beach

Look for the white balloon. I’ll be the one holding it. If this works out, I’ll schedule more meetings in the future.

If you and your neighbors, your Home Owner’s Association, or your organization would like me to attend a meeting to share information and/or discuss your issues, please get in touch with me (contact information below) and I’ll be happy to do that.

If you can’t make any of these and you have a question or something you want to discuss, you can contact me either at [email protected] or 904-583-8629. Hope to see you soon.

Love all of the epaper. Thanks for doing it. Am going to send the email address to 1/2 year owners here. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
