After 19 years of service with the Nassau County Clerk of Court and Comptroller’s Office, Mitch Keiter, the Chief of Staff and Operations, announced his candidacy to succeed John A. Crawford.
Keiter has earned the endorsement of Crawford, along with State Representative Dean Black and State Senator Clay Yarborough.
“I am excited and honored to begin my campaign strong, with endorsements from our county’s strongest conservatives and defenders of the public trust. The Clerk of Court and Comptroller is both the ‘watchdog for the taxpayers,’ as well as being responsible for administrative support to the County and Circuit Courts. I have already been doing the job for 19 years alongside Mr. Crawford.”
