As previously reported by Reporter-News Analyst Suanne Thamm, “Fernandina Beach City Manager Dale Martin has advised that the National Citizen Survey mailings for Fernandina Beach began today, July 12, 2017. He has previously explained the genesis and goals of the survey in his Weekly Columns in the Fernandina Observer in February https://fernandinaobserver.com/2017/02/17/weekly-comments-from-dale-martin-44/ and June https://fernandinaobserver.com/2017/06/30/weekly-comments-from-dale-martin-60/ .
The postcards were mailed on July 12. The first survey packet will mail on July 19th, followed by the second packet on July 26th.”
The Fernandina Observer has obtained a copy of the survey for your review.
I think the Census is a great idea,if used to benefit the future changes made to Nassau County. We love our County, So I hope our elected officials take this opportunity to make Nassau County remain country with a little city thrown in. In other words learn how to make what we have run smooth before you just run to add another problem. #keepnassaucountycountry#lovemyhometown
This survey is a city survey not a Nassau County survey.
Non-probability survey sampling method. No statistical validity due to lack of measureable confidence level or margin for error. Self-selection surveys routinely produce skewed, inaccurate results. A waste of time and money and should not be relied on to make public policy decisions.
This is not a self selection survey. Please read links in article above.
