Erica Teare and Hadeia Liburd have been awarded scholarships to attend the National Flight Academy in Pensacola for a week long deployment this summer. They will be joining six other 8th Grade students from Fernandina Beach and Yulee Middle Schools who were also awarded scholarships for this unique STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) camp experience.
Funding for these scholarships is provided by the Friends of Fernandina Aviation (www.fofaviation.com) in partnership with the Concours d’Elegance, the Rotary Club of Amelia Island Sunshine, and the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport.
