Rayonier Inc. Donates $82,000 in Grants to Local Organizations

Rayonier Inc. announced the award of more than $82,000 to area organizations. Recipients of the company’s Community Fund grants were recently recognized at a special breakfast hosted by Rayonier.

The Rayonier Community Fund supports a variety of civic, cultural, educational, environmental /natural resources as well as health and human services programs. “Our community involvement is a source of great pride for the company” said Charles Adams, Vice President of Community Development for Raydient Places + Properties, Raydient is the professional real estate services subsidiary of Rayonier, speaking to the Rayonier 2016 grant recipients. “We especially look forward to this gathering each year when we get to thank you, your staff and volunteers for the important work that helps make Nassau County such a great place to live and work.”

Rayonier representatives, along with a number of our elected officials and special guests were present to congratulate and thank those receiving grants. Emily McMonagle, GIS Technician for Rayonier and Amy Dyar, Manager, Corporate Engagement, United Way of Northeast Florida gave an overview of the company’s Northeast Florida-based 2016 United Way employee’s workplace campaign, which raised nearly $54,000 in personal contributions.
