For the 5th consecutive year, the Fernandina Observer will host a candidate forum on Thursday, October 20 beginning at 7:00 p.m. (For those who wish to attend we suggest you arrive at 6:45 p.m.) Larry Myers, former legislative aide to now Senator Aaron Bean will serve as moderator. The location of this event will be Fernandina Beach’s City Hall located at the corner of S 2nd & Ash Streets.
Candidates appearing at the forum will be City Commission Candidates for Group 1, Eric Childers, and Johnny Miller, incumbent now serving as mayor, followed by candidates for Ocean Highway and Port Authority, District 1 Coleman C. Langshaw, and Robert “Bob” Sturgess.
For those unable to attend, the forum can be viewed on Comcast’s Local Channel 264. The broadcast will also be available to view through the City of Fernandina Beach Website.
